Wyrd Publications

When I first decided to publish my first Book "A Poetic Inquisition" I thought I would eventually be able to publish other new Authors
as well as publishing my own Books. I chose to call myself "Wyrd Publications" in order to honour the Goddess who is also known
as the Universal Mother. Although she is known to have had preceding names Wyrd is her oldest known name and actually means wise.
I have very strong environmental concerns and allowing for practicalities it is my intention to have my Books
printed on, tree-free, hemp paper. And although it is far from being as easy as I first thought
I still hope that one day I will be able to publish other Authors.  

Since I received my first batch of I. S. B. N's. I've had a vision of what I want Wyrd Publications to become. I imagine a small
factory printing & distributing a variety of Books by several new Authors. As I imagine it I see as many employees as practicalities
allow receiving the best wages that I can afford to pay them. I imagine having administrative assistants working in the office,
whilst I run the whole operation from my computer at home. I know it is quite a large ambition, I don't know what my chances
of success are and  whether I achieve it or not is yet to be seen. But sometimes when life gets to hard I look to that vision
and then it is the hope that I just might make it that keeps me going.
